i was met with very nice service from the front desk staff upon arrival. the furnishings throughout the hotel are comfortable and immaculate. i appreciated the turndown servicewith fresh towels and tidying of the room.
i found the clear glass shower enclosure within the room somewhat awkward. it offered minimal privacy. for people traveling with someone they aren't as close to, this setup might not be ideal.

the staff were very helpful. they recommended a great restaurant for my husband's birthday dinner. they treated us to sparkling wine and cake in the room. the pool and spa area were luxurious and beautifully maintained. i swam every day!
the luggage rack was too small. it could not hold a carry-on size suitcase when opened. the room contained no surface on which to open a suitcase, other than the bed.

I LOVED the AMAZING breakfast. Egg dishes, pancakes and waffles were cooked to order. The assortment of buffet items looked beautiful. The staff was friendly and always available, a true pleasure.
The luggage rack was too small. It could not hold a carry-on size suitcase when opened. The room lacked a surface to open a suitcase, other than the bed, console table, or floor.

The breakfast offered many options. I tried the cakes and cheeses! Even a picky eater could find food. The staff was helpful and friendly. This.
The building's facade lacks a gutter. Rain creates a curtain of dripping water at the entrance, though.

Acceptable stay with some design FAULTS

The light switches WERE a NIGHTMARE. Some required a tap, others a two-second hold (it drove me mad). The luggage rack was also too small. My carry-on didn't fit when opened. The coffee maker sat in a dark alcove, so I struggled to read the capsules. (I almost gave up with it!).

design flaws detract from potential
confusing controlssmall rack
I found several aspects less than ideal. the light switch controls were confusing. some lights needed a tap, others a long press, and the on/off switch didn't turn anything on! also, the luggage rack proved too small for even a carry-on suitcase, and there was no suitable surface to open it, which i found quite frustrating. The shower's temperature control was difficult to grip with soapy hands, and the clear glass shower projected into the bedroom.
